About Us

The Counselling Lodge is located in Newbridge Co. Kildare and is run by Blanaid Mc Donnell and her team. Blanaid has been practicing as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for a numbers of years working in agencies prior to opening her own private practice. She is a full member of IACP. Blanaid is in on-going education and currently her portfolio holds:

• MSc. Child & Adolescents Counselling/Psychotherapy
• BSc. Counselling/ Psychotherapy
• Diploma in Integrative Supervision
• Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety & Depression
• Certificate in Adult & Community Education

Blanaid has been practicing as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist for a numbers of years working in agencies prior to opening her own private practice.

She studied in Middlesex University & PCI Dublin and holds a MSc. Child & Adolescents Counselling/Psychotherapy, BSc. in Counselling & Psychotherapy and also a cert in CBT for Anxiety and Depression. Blanaid is also a fully accredited member of Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
